The 25 Best DIY Easter Ideas

The Easter Bunny may not be delivering chocolates to the Little Man this year... no probably some clothes and baby food. YUP... he's eating his veggies already! But just because the chocolate won't be hitting his basket this year, doesn't mean I won't be celebrating anways. Here's a list of the 25 best DIY Easter ideas out there... well at least what I think to be!

Alright... I think I've got my work cut out for me. We are having Little P's Baptism on Easter so I'm actually hoping to make some of these things and share them with you... probably after Easter - who am I kidding?

Happy Easter Making!

A Couple of Free Printables

One blog post last week, more this week - promise. While battling the flu and finishing assignment two for school, I definitely didn't make it to the blog… or the craft pile. But enough is enough, this girl has got to get her butt in gear. People are already decorating for Christmas and my table is full of ornaments I need to get sold! So, it's Monday, a new week and a new opportunity to just go for it. While I plug away at getting things in order, here are a couple of free printables I stumbled upon on Pinterest while cooped up on the couch last week. I absolutely love them!

These printable foxy bookmarks by Lonnie Jacobsen are absolutely adorable... and come in two fun colors - orange and blue (click here to get them). I think I need to print them off and finish reading the 50 Shades of Grey series. Yes, I'm that pathetic... I haven't had time to finish reading them yet and I'm dying to know what happens. Shh... don't tell!

When I saw these on Pinterest I fell in love. I may not have any kids yet, but I'm definitely printing them off and keeping them around for the nieces and nephews - they are adorable. These colorful printable popsicles are from Eat Drink Chic and can be downloaded here. Perhaps a great stocking stuffer for the little ones in your life?

All of this excitement and I forgot to say… Happy Monday! (I'm trying to be optimistic) Okay, how about - Yay to it almost being over! :o)

Have fun with these great freebies. Talk soon - promise!

11 Days Later... I'm Finally Home!

After waking from a 17 hour sleep this morning I realized I'm home! Finally. Most of you would say 11 days in Las Vegas would be amazing, but it wasn't all fun in games. Most days were spent working over 12 hours and it wasn't until the last two days that I finally got to relax. Anyways, I'm not going to complain about that, I'm actually really excited to get back to life and back to you guys on my blog.

It's back to concentrating on selling our house - we now have four houses we're looking at, two of which especially stand out. I'm excited to get back to martha.anne - that means Pinterest, writing, cooking and having fun. I also have a client who I have to make a logo for ASAP - on my to do list for today! I have missed this world that I have neglected for the past month or so.

Before I left, I told most of you that Ry's grandfather wasn't well, unfortunately he had passed away on Easter morning. It was hard to leave for Vegas with everything that was going on and he will truly be missed. We spent that last few weeks visiting him constantly and before that we always made a Sunday visit once or twice a month. Days fishing, him showing us his garden and listening to his stories will never be forgotten.

On to a lighter note, I have finally logged back onto Pinterest. I know I've been MIA for a while, so here is a great start back to what I hope is a week full of blog posts, a few of my favorite pins I have already pinned today:

DIY Felt Owl
(feelin' crafty.)
Steph Zerbe Design

White & Wood Kitchen
(dream home.)

Cheesy Baked Tomatoes
Laa Loosh

Name Prints
Jones Design Company

Dream Closed in Veranda

Thanks for holding in there while I have been away - here's to a great week ahead!

Custom Mason Jar Lids... Great for Christmas Gifts.

Once again I've been caught exploring Pinterest and have found another great craft/gift idea to add to my list - custom mason jar lids. I'm not sure if I'll do this for organizing my craft supplies, pantry items or for great gift containers.

A great idea and free templates from Christine and Nicola over at The Pretty Blog - go and check it out and get other great ideas too.
